In 1994, after winning strong recognition as soloists, Yuki and Tomoko melded their artistry into an award-winning piano duo. They won prizes in several prestigious international competitions: First and Kodama Prize at the Fourth International Piano Duo Competition in Tokyo; the Dranoff International Two-Piano Competition in Florida; and the Ellis Two-Piano National Competition in South Carolina;  The Duo has been featured in the Gilmore International Keyboard Festival in Michigan, the Symposium for Two-Pianos in Florida and the Quebec International Two-Piano Festival. Frequently, they join the faculty of the International Summer Music Festival in Naleczow , Poland .

Performances with orchestra include the World’s Fair in Knoxville , Tennessee , and in Michigan with the Warren , Livonia , Battle Creek , Cadillac and Great Lakes Chamber Orchestra.

In Chicago , Yuki and Tomoko have performed on the Dame Myra Hess Series and on Live From Studio One, both broadcast on WFMT. They have toured the United States and abroad performing in small communities and major cities such as: New York , Los Angeles , Milan , and Tokyo . And in Stockholm and Warsaw , where their concerts were broadcast live. Popular components of their concert tours are the master classes and “Informance” programs for student and family audiences.

The Duo has produced four highly acclaimed Cds which include a diverse repertoire of one-piano and two-piano works: Rhapsody, American Mosaic and Fantasy.  Their fourth CD,
Danse Montage, has been released in 2009.
