"Music is very powerful. It's the universal language that allows us to communicate with everyone.

When we moved from Japan to the United States, we were very young. We didn't speak English and it was very difficult to communicate with others but music became our unique way of crossing those borders.

When we performed, our music transcended us. It allowed us to express through sound what we could not express through words.

Even now, in every performance, we seek to share the joys and sorrows of life through music. When an audience member approaches us and proclaims how much they "love that piece", we feel truly special knowing that music has, once again, transcended us."
